Throughout the summer the Centre organizes and runs a number of Open Evenings. These events last about two or three hours and usually take place on weekends. The Open Evening format gives anyone interested in becoming a TA therapist the opportunity to learn more about the TA training course itself and to meet both trainers and trainees in a relaxed atmosphere. You probably have a number of questions that you need answering before you could commit to becoming a TA trainee at the Centre; this is what the Open Evening is all about.
At an Open Evening you will get a guided tour of the Centre and be introduced to one of our senior trainers. After enjoying a drink and some nibbles you will meet some of our current trainees and find out what it’s really like to join the Centre and be part of this community. The last part of the evening, known as “Question Time” will give you the opportunity to ask a panel made up of Centre staff anything regarding TA, Course Administration, Career Opportunities, Entry Requirements ort anything which you will need to help you make a decision as to what becoming a TA trainee will mean to you.
